Lola

Lola is a Spanish tapas restaurant nestled in the center of Sylvan Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Organic tones of natural hues are showcased in this lunch and dinner neighborhood restaurant - the entire spectrum from dark rust to terracotta to a sharp pink are highlighted throughout. The 10 person bar is an artistic feat combining a concrete top with handmade zellige tiles in a smooth transition along the bar front and base. An arched antiqued mirror with simple walnut shelf welcomes in bar patrons. Walls are kept a smooth, creamy white to create a contrast with the ebonized oak beams that hold up the gabled spanish tiled roof. A dynamic entry features a copper flank arched host stand and bench, showcasing an arched black and white tile inset into the concrete floor. Lola is a simple approach to Spanish cooking and the space reflects a timeless simplicity using earthy shades of color, handmade lighting, and hints of modern cool.
